יחידה אינטר-דיסציפלינרית בנושא הראיה והעיוורון

 כפי שכתבתי  לכם בפוסט הקודם, קבוצת השקדיות שלנו הגישה הצעה להציג את היחידה המתוקשבת שלנו בנושא ראיה ועיוורון ( אותה הכנו במסגרת הקורס "טכנולוגיות הלמידה" של גילה ונעמי) בכנס הבינלאומי למצוינות שיערך בירושלים בחודש יולי.

הכנס נערך במסגרת ICIE  ,המרכז הבינלאומי לחדשנות בחינוך. מרכז זה נוסד בגרמניה וכיום פועלים סניפיו במקומות שונים בעולם . המרכז מחויב לפיתוח כל הלומדים כאזרחים יצרניים ומנהיגי העתיד. המרכז מעריך אפשרויות למידה לכל אורך החיים, הנותנות מענה לצרכים של תלמידים מחוננים, יצירתיים ומוכשרים, הוריהם ומוריהם. בנוסף המרכז לחדשנות בחינוך מזמין חדשנות, מקדם מצוינות בחינוך, תומך בפתרון בעיות יצירתי ומעודד לקיחת סיכונים מחושבים.

בין הנושאים שיוצגו בכנס השנה: דרכים לטפוח מצוינות, תלמיד מחונן ותלמיד מצטיין, תוכניות לימוד מובילות, חינוך מוסרי וערכי וכמובן למידה מתוקשבת וטכנולוגיות מתקדמות.

בהיותו כנס בינלאומי,התבקשנו להגיש את הצעת הרציונל של היחידה המתוקשבת שלנו בשפה האנגלית והמתנו בקוצר רוח לתשובה. אתמול בדיוק ביום הולדתי, הבשורה המשמחת הגיעה: דר חוה וידרגור , יושבת ראש המרכז למצוינות בארץ הודיעה לנו שההצעה שלנו התקבלה ואנו מוזמנות להציג בירושלים בפני אנשי חינוך בין-לאומיים. ההרצאה שלנו תערך  25 דקות ותוצג תחת הנושא של טכנולוגיות מתוקשבות.

Sight & Blindness in the Technological Age:
An Interdisciplinary E-Learning Unit

In our multicultural era when the whole world becomes a global village there is an increasing need for the learners' awareness to openness and tolerance. In the digital world the visual sense of sight has become much more significant in our daily life. This unit presents a learning model for interdisciplinary learning that will introduce the subject of sight, its limitations and solutions for blind people from the time of Louis Braille to the present. We chose to develop a learning interdisciplinary holistic unit for Junior High School students (8^th-9^th graders) in our desire to appropriate it to the global world, where borders blur, and focus on one particular subject from different angles. This unit combines four subjects: Science, English & Hebrew Languages and Technology. Each subject presents the content from its own domain aspiring to integrate it within the multi-disciplinary system.  This unit is developed as an a-synchronous computerized lesson, meaning that the learning process takes place from each learner's home computer in the individual flexible time within a limited frame time (two weeks) for the whole group. There is a possibility of peer learning and support from other learners and the teachers through Facebook Platform. At the end of the unit the students are asked to evaluate the products of their colleagues in the group and reflect on their process of learning throughout the whole unit.
